For 22 years he was a highly regarded speaker. As a presenter with a broadcast and social audience of over 3 million, Jez’s infectious humour, deep human insight, and positive energy extends to a portfolio including television, viral social media content, #1 bestselling books, workshops, and expert contributions to media including CNN, The Daily Telegraph, and The Sunday Times.
Through deeply honest content he has shown hundreds of thousands of people how to get more by doing and having less.
His purpose is simple:
“For 22 years I travelled the world helping organisations and leaders create change. It was rewarding work, but it came at a huge cost: the constant rush, relentless demands, and feeling that life was always just slightly out of reach. In the whirlwind, I discovered a truth that would eventually shape everything that came next:
We don’t need more. We need less.
Today, I teach and live a slower, simpler life. It’s a necessary shift for ourselves, our families, and the world we’re shaping every day. Slow and simple is a beautiful concept that taps into an increasingly urgent desire for respite and clarity.”

Identify the excess—what clutters your time, mind, home, and schedule? What can be removed or paused? I did multiple home cleanses, asking of each item: “Does this bring me joy or serve a purpose?” For example, I reduced a 3,000 book collection to under 100. I wanted them, but didn’t need them.
Live deliberately
Rebuild life around intention, values, and meaning. Say no more. Design your days with care. Curate the items you own and clothes you wear, the food you eat, and what you do with conscious intention.
Own
your pace
Stop comparing. Define what “enough” looks like for you, truly and honestly. Create rituals and rhythms that suit you.
Welcome stillness
Practice rest. Make space for quiet and own the idea of doing nothing. Build in slowness, reflection, and boredom as fuel for creativity and presence. A simple way I started to put this into my daily ife was to read a chapter of a book each morning after breakfast.
Thoughtful, curious, and calmly compelling. My free weekly email with 3 thoughts, 1 idea, 1 question, 1 quote + content for the curious:
